Caught a wee bit of the Eurovision Song Contest coverage last night. Always provides a laugh or two and kudos to the Israeli entry for showing us that it is possible to get a punky Kaiser Chiefs/Young Ones type entry into the Eurovision rather than the traditional mush. However, one gripe, why oh why has everybody tried to recreate riverdance? Every year since riverdance there has been copy after copy after copy. Listen people, it worked once, it was a big success, everyone is sick of it now so please, please find another form of entertainment when you’re totaling up the electronic votes, which by the way really shouldn’t take as long as it did.
