Ireland’s Monolith

Permission has just been granted for a 32 storey tower to be built in Dublin (near Heuston station). Deemed to be an “expression of outstanding 21st-century architecture”, me thinks the only outstanding thing is the 32 floors rising from the ground. The last thing Ireland needs is high rise buildings and the last thing Dublin needs is more construction!! source: Irish Times
