If I had read this yesterday I wouldn’t have believed it. Apple are to offer the entire EMI catalogue on iTunes DRM-free! Granted you will have to pay 130% of the price for each track compared to the evil DRM versions but still it’s a step in the right direction. We need to see this price come down though as it’s still unacceptable that music should cost so much in digital form given that the distribution costs are so much less. source: Boing Boing
