Now, I hate clampers as much as anyone else. They’re nasty, they potentially damage your vehicle while attaching and removing the clamp. Private clampers are even worse because they are rarely governed by the Road Traffic Act and therefore difficult to reason with. However, if there is any clamper sympathiser out there then this story will surely change your opinion. An ambulance clamped at Dublin airport while it was waiting to transfer a seriously ill patient. Now that takes the biscuit. Let’s face it how many illegally parked ambulanaces are there in the country without justified reason? The mentality of these clampers should really be examined thoroughly as something is surely, very wrong. source: Irish Times
