Yesterday we celebrated Bloom and today we acknowledge that our economy is booming yet again. 50,000 new jobs were created in the last 12 months with approximately 80% of those being full-time positions. The news report last night even suggested that there could be a workforce shortage that would push salaries up again. Why does the media control this country? Up until 6 months ago all was doom and gloom. I’m presuming that of the 50,000 jobs created that they were not all created in the last 6 months. Why wasn’t our economy booming before now with low interest rates, obvious job creation and all the rest? I could reference several other postings where I exhibited disbelief of the “downturn” advertised by the media but that would just be gloating. source:Irish Times
