I have noticed this little idea on Rob O’Connor’s Weblog for a while now and I think it’s pretty neat. He’s got a little image of the book that he’s currently reading and a link to where you can read a review or buy the book. The reason that I think it’s good is that if you know someone or have been reading their articles/postings for a while then you may also find yourself interested in what they read. As such you might find interesting books that you would probably otherwise never pick up. So to follow in the fashion I have started placing my current reads in the top left corner of my pages in a similar way to that of Rob’s Rants. Thanks for the idea!
P.S. I rarely ever read a single book at a time (bad attention span or something) so there will frequently be several images in the left column. 🙂
