Just migrated my MT install to use MySQL instead of Berkeley DB (default). Process really couldn’t have been simpler. The most difficult part was some port tunnelling (no not Dublin, rather SSH) to get my MySQL GUI to connect to the remote server. One new file, 3 new config entries and run a simple script and the job was done. Now I can rest safely knowing that the ill-fate that became Mícheál Ó Foghlú some months ago will not be a burden on my doorstep in the future.
